AHH!! I can’t believe Ipsy is actually keeping up with the sneak peeks starting on the first! I absolutely love it, they sure do know how to spoil us every month. =]
Speaking of spoiling… here’s what their Facebook spoilers showed us this month:
May Sneak Peek #1: Let your beauty bloom with one of these soft, fresh shades to cheer up your spring style.
Pacifica Enlighten Eye Brightening Mineral Eye Shadow Duos. Retail: $7.00? for 3.12 oz. or $14.00 for 6.4 oz.
Wow. This is exactly what I was waiting for- a cruelty-free, paraben-free, and vegan eyeshadow! I love the color combos, one is an eggplant purple and a pearly white and the other is a light pink and shimmery gold. I would love to get all the colors!!! They don’t sell this particular duo on the site so this is just for us lucky Ipsters. 😉
This color scheme reminds me of the e.l.f. Studio Prism Eyeshadow Palette in Sunset- I had to get rid of since it has parabens, pretty right? It has great color pay-off and its super shimmery… hopefully Pacifica’s formula is the same but not as shimmery. I can’t wait!
May Sneak Peek #2: Time to head outdoors and enjoy beauty al fresco. Don’t forget to put one of these pretty picks in your picnic basket to stay safe in the sun.
Hang Ten Classic Body SPF 50. Retail: $12.99 for 6 oz. or $2.17 for 1 oz.
This is another brand from Coola! I LOVE that its all natural AND 50 SPF. I’d rather have this one rather than the other sunblock because it has more SPF and more product- can’t get enough of sun protection!
Jersey Sun Shore Sans Tan Anti-aging Sunscreen Travel Size. Retail: $12.50 for 0.5 oz. or $25.00 for 1 oz.
Another sunblock (not a self-tanner)! This is organic stuff- go Ipsy! There’s only 35 SPF but this one has anti-aging ingredients. Good stuff Ipsy, good stuff.
Stay tuned for more sneak peeks- since they start on the first there will be 5 sneaks peeks in total so they will start up again on monday! What do you think of the sneak peeks so far?
May Sneak Peek #3: A lovely bouquet of beauty awaits you this month. Which blooms are you excited about?
(They didn’t say this but I think we’re getting 1 or 2 depending if we got a duplicate brush last month)
Nailtini Tahiti Breeze. Retail: $13.00 for .5 oz.
This polish has a light blue pearl finish- the picture looks lighter but its the lighting that is giving it the light pearly color. No offense to Ipsy but I’m getting tired of seeing the same nail polish brands- they do switch it up every now and then but they ALWAYS go back to Nailtini and Zoya.
Too Faced Chocolate Soleil Matte Bronzer in Medium/Deep. Retail: $30.00 for .35 oz.
I would love a Too Faced product! I need a matte, paraben-free bronzer so bad- I WANT THIS! I love that Ipsy is ingredient conscious when they pick brands- I know not every product will be animal cruelty free (this one is btw) but at least most of the products don’t have harmful chemicals.
Olive Natural Beauty Lips in Refreshing Rosemary Lip Balm. Retail: $5.95 for 0.07 oz.
Great for oily skin types but gentle enough for every day use. This is all natural and organic ingredients- LOVE.
Lulu Blossom Dreamsicle Body Balm. Retail: $10.00 for 2 oz.
This is a deep moisturizing balm that can be used just about anywhere on the body. It’s rich and creamy with nourishing Shea butter making it great for cuticles, cracked hands, feet, and elbows. It can also be used as a hair pomade or just for those frizzy fly aways. Again all natural. =]
Revlon Colorburst Matte Balm. Retail: $8.99.
This has a velvety texture with balm-like moisture. Infused with a Triple Butter Complex of Shea, Mango and Coconut Butter. This retractable chubby crayon requires no sharpener. I’m hoping this is the matte version and not the lacquer kind which is shiny.
Hey Honey Take It Off! Exfoliating Honey Peel Off Mask. Retail: $35.00 for 1.7 oz.
Moisturizes with luxurious Honey extract, brightens and smooths skin with the exfoliating power of Alpha Hydroxy Acids, and is paraben-free!
Boo Boo Cover-up. Retail: $19.99 for .34 oz.
This is a full-size concealer for pimples so it’s natural and it helps heal the pimple! I’ve been breaking out a lot lately so I could really use this!
Endless Euphoria by Calvin Klein. Retail: $3.50 for .1 oz or $49.00 for 1.4 oz. (from ulta.com)
I’m pretty surprised at this one… Calvin Klein?? I didn’t know Ipsy was hooked up like this.
Lot’s of good stuff- I can’t wait. Since my last bag had a duplicate- I’m getting a bonus item! Plus I redeemed the BareMinerals Marvelous Moxie Lipstick in Light It Up too- this bag is gonna be PACKED with goodies. I love Ipsy. =]
May Sneak Peek #4: The freshest picks, the prettiest products! One of these beauty finds will be yours to enjoy all spring.
Eva NYC Therapy Session Hair Mask. Retail: $12.00 for 2.03 oz. or $40.00 for 16.9 oz.
Designed to deeply condition, strengthen and repair your hair. Keravis protein is clinically proven to strengthen hair, heat protectant, free of parabens, phosphates, mineral oils, not tested on animals.
Rock-A-Wave Curl Cream. Retail: $ 8.00 for 3.38 oz or $24.00 for 8.5 oz.
The Rock-A-Wave Curl Cream is the ideal formula for curly and wavy hair. Argan Oil provides deep conditioning and smooth separation without weighing hair down. Keravis Protein gives hair renewed vitality by nourishing and strengthening the hair cuticle. The result is rockin’ curls and waves.
Mane Tamer Leave In Cream. Retail: $ 8.00 for 3.38 oz. or $24.00 for 8.5 oz.
Another hair care product you can leave in for soft, nourished hair. I could use any of these hair care products.
Balance Guru No Frizz Organic Sesame & Lemongrass Balancing Oil. Retail: $25.00 for 1 oz.
This brand popped up in the January 2014 bag! Balance frizzy hair without the need to weigh it down with silicones. Control fly aways with our blend of Sesame, Grapeseed, Jojoba and Tamanu Oils. Show your hair who’s boss even in humid and tropical weather.
Pur~lisse pur~moist hydra-balance moisturizer. Retail: $27.50 for .85 oz or $55.00 for 1.7 oz.
You might recognize this from the Mother’s Day Collection! Props to you if you knew. 😉 Achieve beautiful balance with this delicate hydrating moisturizer. Infused with our unique, exclusive peptide complex, Lotus Lupine 5, Vitamin E and our secret blend of French Marine Plants, skin becomes dewy and supple – pure harmony.
Man, these are pretty generous “samples”… I’m hoping for the hair mask or the leave-in-conditioner since my hair is always hard and dry my hair is super thick with split ends- its gross. But yeah,
one two more to go and that’s the bag. I’m pretty excited for this bag- mostly because I’m wondering if the extra item is from this month bag or a totally random “replacement” item.
Sneak Peek #5: Garden party or relaxed picnic, one of these beauty finds will keep you pretty and polished for any outdoor soiree this month.
Freeman Bare foot Spa Professional Exfoliating Polish. Retail: $.0.57 for .5 oz. or $5.99 for 5.3 oz.
I honestly CANNOT find this anywhere… and I’ve been searching for awhile. I’m thinking this is pretty new on the market so it’s not out anywhere yet. Our aquatic-inspired, shimmering body polish delivers gentle exfoliation for skin that’s rejuvenated and re-energized. Non-abrasive micro-granules buff away dead skin as Apricot Oil nourishes and sooths. Our triple-botanical ReCapture Complex helps eliminate toxins, restore essential nutrients, and reinvigorate with antioxidants to reduce surface roughness. Shimmering Mica enhances skin’s natural radiance.
Coastal Scents Classic Blender Crease Natural. Retail: $2.49.
I think this is from CS but the logo on the end doesn’t look right…but if it is this is the Classic Blender Crease Natural brush. It can be used as an all-over eye shadow brush. The soft, tapered natural hair bristles allow you to blend eye shadows using a back and forth motion on the eyelid and crease.
Coastal Scents Pro Blending Fluff. Retail: $4.95.
Another blending brush from CS- its soft, oval shaped, and the goat hair bristles allow you to soften the look of powder or cream shadows by blending harsh lines. I have a TON of brushes and I literally just bought the 22 piece set from Coastal Scents but this brush is SO PRETTY. This wasn’t in the set so I would mind getting this. 😉
derma e Microdermabrasion Scrub with Dead Sea Salt. Retail: $32.50 for 2 oz.
This award-winning, salon treatment alternative buffs skin, helping to diminish the appearance of fine lines, wrinkles and acne scars. I believe there is volcanic ash in there too to help draw out impurities.
Avene Thermal Spring Water. Retail: $9.00 for 1.76 oz.
This is a mineral-rich water mist for softening and relieving sensitive skin. Avene Thermal Spring Water is a biologically pure, naturally occurring hydrating mist. Trace minerals and silica condition and reduce irritation as they leave a soothing barrier of lightweight moisture over the skin. Ideal for daily use by all skin types, including those with sensitive, sensitized or stressed skin.
I’ve been using a hydrating mist like crazy since the harsh winter made my skin extremely dry all the time now. I actually made my own with hydrating moisturizers and witch hazel (and putting it in the empty spray bottle).
La Fresh Travel Lite Facial Cleansing Wipes. Retail: $2.49 for 8 wipes.
This brand is all natural so there are no chemicals! These wipes are oil-free with Vitamin E, it conditions as it cleanses, for all skin types and its made with aloe vera, cucumber, chamomile, marshmallow & tea plant botanical extracts.
La Fresh Travel Lite Oil-Free Makeup Remover Wipes. Retail: $2.49 for 8 wipes.
Effectively wipes away makeup from eyes, lips & face, dermatologist-approved, sensitive formula, and free of parabens. I could use these since I got rid of my paraben infested wipes- although I did get La Fresh wipes before- I never used them though… I think I gave them away.
Anna Sui Eyelash Curler. Retail: $25.49.
Tweezerman Procurl Lash Curler. Retail: $20.00.
This was the closest design that I could find. The handle is pretty unique- it doubles around and most eyelash curlers connect all the way around. The colors are reversed but I think the one in the picture could be a limited edition color. Also, Tweezerman has the same exact curler (also in a different color). I’m leaning more towards the Tweezerman brand since its more generic. I would love to get this for my mom (and possibly myself)- she needs one so I’m hoping for a good deal or to get this in my bag. =)
Mee Beauty Pure Honey Infused Night Cream – Bee Nourished. Retail: $30.00 for 2 oz.
This premium ultra thick night cream will moisturize, nourish and prepare your face for the challenges of the next day. Infused with pure honey straight from the beehive and the finest skin nutraceuticals found on earth. It’s paraben free, fragrance free, and has all natural ingredients.
Balance Guru No Frizz Organic Sesame & Lemongrass Balancing Oil. Retail: $25.00 for 1 oz.
I’m pretty sure this is a repeat from the last sneak peek- I looked at the other oils and this looks pretty close to the last picture. Although… there still can be variations we don’t see in the sneak peeks…
If you’re drooling over the spoilers and you wanna join- use my link! The bag is only $10 for 4-5 products and an exclusive make-up bag. Plus, you get great deals on the brands Ipsy has to offer. Pretty sweet deal if you ask me. Stay tuned for more!
Ipsy’s going GREEN! It looks like it could be made of recycled products or a canvas. I love it, it ties into the products nicely. =] Now to wait for the Glam Room update!
