Lot’s of things have happened in the last month (of July)- I got a full-time job, a car and a bunch of other life changing stuff so I’ve been really busy. So, I’m doing another quick recap of my July goodies. Here we go:
July Julep box- I got the Kelsey Polish. Retail: $14.00. and the Vicki Polish Retail: $14.00, both of these colors are neutral so I’m not sure if I will be using them or giving them away. I didn’t actually want these colors but I was really looking forward to trying the Bare Body Milk Lotion Retail: $24.00, after using it for a week or so I’ve haven’t seen a difference in my dry skin. I have super dry skin in some places and this didn’t really help with it. It’s pretty liquidy- not rich like I’d thought it would be. I’ll use the rest of it but I won’t be purchasing it. It’s paraben-free and has no scent so it’s nice to have a normal lotion without all those chemicals. My box was worth $42.00 and I only paid $20 for it. When you refer others you can earn $15 for each person.
Julep also have a new option now where you can pick each product you want- I haven’t done it yet but it costs $5 more. If you want to try out Julep for free (or $20 off) use my link and enter the code: FREEMAVEN, you have to pay for shipping but $4.00 for all the stuff is still a pretty good deal. It changes almost every month so check it out and pick your box.
July Birchbox– this was a great box! It had the Cynthia Rowley Beauty Eyeliner in Black Retail: $8.00, I’ve wanted to try this sooo bad so I was pretty excited to try it. It’s suppose to be waterproof and budge-proof however I have super oily lids so unfortunately this didn’t stay put for me. It did last a long time even wiping away the smeared liner. I guess my eye shape and skin type doesn’t work with any “waterproof” liner since it transfers to my lower lids through out the day. But I was happy to try this before I bought all the colors. The next thing was the RUFFIAN Nail Lacquer in Ambrosia Retail: $11.00, This color is beautiful, I love purple and it’s such a pretty pearly purple… These nail polishes from Ruffian are really nice. I really want to buy the other colors! I haven’t tried the RUFFIAN Dressing Room Nail Lacquer Remover Towelettes Retail: $12.00, yet but I’ll keep you updated. The Naobay Body Radiance Lotion. Retail: $24.00, Real Chemistry Luminous 3-Minute Peel Retail: $48.00, and 100% Pure Gingerade Shower Gel (Honey Cream Wash) Retail: $15.00, also haven’t tried yet since I have SOO many samples to try. I got way more than 5 items (which is the normal amount) so I was really happy with my selection- I haven’t used everything yet but I will when I run out of those samples (and full sized products I buy).
Next, July Bulu– Beanfields Barbecue Chips- these are pretty yummy I tried this brand before and that chips are delicious. The image on the bag isn’t the same as the real chips- it has more spices than the picture. Helps for Her tea- also haven’t tried yet but these are for women on menopause… so I’m not there yet. lol. Helps for Kids- again not for me but it helps hydrate kids during these hot days. KickButt Energy Ballz- kind of a weird name for an energy candy but I got 2 sets of these so I’ll let you know how that goes. MASQUELIER’s Soléderm After Sun Solution- I haven’t gotten burned yet since I’ve been working (inside) for… well… 5 days a week and I haven’t been to the beach so no sunburn for me! Power Crunch Protein Energy Bar- this was a tiny bar (much like the mini Crunch bars) but with white chocolate. It wasn’t bad but it wasn’t the best white chocolate ever- maybe because it had some extra fiber/protein in it. Rutaesomn is natural pill that speeds up the process of removing caffeine in your body so that you can sleep. This sounds like a great invention- I never thought of it until now.
July Memebox Special #6 Whole Grain edition box-Grinif Nature Oatmeal Scrub Bar Retail: $9.00, I haven’t used this yet but its handmade from natural ingredients and it doesn’t dry out your face. Herbclinic Rice Bran Powder Retail: $8.00, this is a grounded up powder that you mix in with oatmeal and milk to make a mask… I haven’t done it yet but I will soon. Purebess Galactomyces 100% Retail: $15.00, I believe this is a toner that keeps your clean pores and wrinkles nice and clean, and moisturized. Purebess Galactomyces 80 Eye Cream Retail: $20.00, This is a HUGE eye cream for wrinkle and fine lines- great price too! Purederm Anti-stress Heat Therapy Mask Oatmeal Retail: $12.00, I thought this was a hair mask but its for your face. It’s suppose to open up your pores and give you a cleaner face. Purederm Rice Bran Collagen Mask Retail: $5.00, each I got two but I recently discovered that my face needs a mask everyday or ever other day. My skin soaks up the extra moisture it needs from these masks so they will be used! Purederm Daily Moisturizing Hand Mask Oatmeal Retail: $7.00, my hands are also super dry so these will come in handy. Purederm Invigorating Foot Scrub Walnut Retail: $4.00, my feet are okay so I don’t need it… I might do several giveaways for different age groups so stay tuned!
This was a great box- I really loved each one since it’s all natural and moisturizing so that was perfect for me. I might buy some products if I can’t find a good deal online. Again, I have soo many products I haven’t even opened yet so I might do a big giveaway for several lucky readers. My box was worth $85.00! That is amazing! I believe they sell it for $23.00 and you pay for shipping which is around $7.00? I didn’t actually pay for this but I am in love with all of their boxes- if I didn’t have a pile of debt, I’d buy most of the boxes. I could do a box every month if people wanted me to… let me know in the comments which box is your favorite!
July Ipsy– I got the bareMinerals 5-in-1 BB Advanced Performance Cream Eyeshadow Broad Spectrum SPF 15 in Divine Wine Retail: $5.40 for .03 oz, its a bit dark for my eyes but if you use a little- it goes a long way, Hang Ten Dark Tanning Oil SPF 08 Retail: $3.00 for 1 oz. I don’t use tanning stuff so this will be in the giveaway/trade pile, Lord & Berry Kajal Stick Retail: $7.00? for .02 oz, I have SO many eyeliners its not funny- this will be given away/traded, Marrakesh Hair Care Marrakesh Endz Retail: $5.99, I’ve used this for my split ends but haven’t used it daily to see a difference. I like it though it’s nice and silky, and as for the Pür Minerals Big Look Waterproof Mascara Retail: $24.12 for .12 oz, my lashes are really hard to find the right one, I need a waterproof-lash lengthening-lash curling formula so this is water proof but it doesn’t keep my lashes curled. If anyone knows of a mascara like that let me know! I wasn’t that impressed with my bag this month but I wasn’t that upset either. I got a bonus gift- a Glam RX mini palette that you can put de-potted eyeshadows and such in there. I use it for lip gloss and I keep an eyeshadow in there in case I need to touch up. It’s pretty small but its great for light traveling.
Ipsy is stepping up their game! Now they are offering an early glam bag reveal when you subscribe to their youtube channels and like their facebook pages. If you log on to your Ipsy account and click on My Glam Room they will show you the rest. Also, they have been adding more bonus gifts and a lesser Ipsy Point product! They listen to our feedbacks so if we want it- they’ll deliver. =]
July PinchMe– Sinful Colors in Cupid’s Arrow (purple) and Forget Now (pink) I thought I was just getting one color but I got two! I only tried the purple colors. It painted nicely in two coats and it dries pretty fast. I would put on top coat when it dries especially if you use your hands a lot. The Gelvalia Ground Coffee is one of my favorite coffees- I haven’t had it in awhile so its nice to have a batch of it. What I like most about Gelvalia coffee is that its never bitter no more how much you add hot water or how long you brew it.

July Phone Case of the Month– I’m not sure which case I got but I know I don’t have this phone. If you like this case let me know in an email. PCOTM was kind enough to send me a complimentary phone case to review! I got a “Wander” phone case with a wood-like texture in the background. I really like the vintage look and the case is very soft yet hard enough to keep the phone safe! They only make a few of these every month so you get a limited edition each month for just $10 a month plus you get an extra little gift that promotes the phone case. I think if you sign up, they’ll send you a $5.00 coupon code. So you can get your first case for just $5, free shipping! =]
That’s it for July… I’ll try to get the August posts before the month is over! Thanks for being patient! LOVE you guys!! ❤
