July 2015 Cuisine Cube Box Review

julyccholdI have another new food box for review! Cuisine Cube sends you 6-7 full-sized products & goodies from small local stores. Some could be snacks others are products to help you spice up your food.

julyccopenThey have three lines you can choose from Vegan, Gluten-free, and Artisan. Some items each month will be in the other boxes so sometimes you get a little bit from all the lines! In this case (which is not the typical box) I got a mix of items from the Gluten-free box and the Artisan box. Each box is $39.99 per month, $37.99 for 3 months at time, or $34.99 for 6 months at a time. If you want the next box you should sign up before the 20th.

Here’s what I got:

julycclayoutjulyccoatsGatherer’s Gluten-Free Granola. Retail: $5.49 for 10.5 oz. These are organic granola (coconut, dark chocolate and quinoa) from the local farmer’s market. These are home grown from Schenectady, NY. You can make it as oatmeal, add it to your yogurt or make it into a granola bar and add your favorite nuts and fruits!

julyccseasonGreenpoint Trading Co. Black Bear Spices. Retail: $9.00 for 8 oz. The smell is pretty strong but it’s a mix of typical everyday spices you would use for seasoning meat. I used this for seasoning steak and then I put in butter to make a delicious sauce. Yumm. You get a decent amount too so if you really want to do a rack of ribs- you’re covered.

julyccpastaSfoglini Pasta Shop Emmer Reginetti. Retail: $7.00. This pasta is packed with fiber and protein and made with organic durum semalina and emmer flour. Never heard of it but I’m excited to try it.

julyccpopcornBjorn Quorn Sun-Popper Corn. Retail: $3.00 for 3 oz. I love popcorn! I thought these had extra flavoring added but it’s the natural kernels popped in natural sunlight! Wow. It’s just corn seeds and salt to season it. It’s nutty and kind of cheesy tasting- very different from your theater popcorn for sure.

julyccparmKitchen Table Bakers Parmesan Mini Crisps. Retail: $3.99 for 1.75 oz. Yummm these were also a favorite. I love cheese as well so these are literally parmesan cheese melted into a mini chip size pieces. Crunchy and tasty! I’m sure I can make these at home just dump some grated parmesan cheese onto a low temp pan and let it melt till it’s crispy and then cool them off. =] I’ve seen them do it with other cheeses at a food convention,,, drooolll.

julycccookiesGoodie Girl Midnight Brownie Cookies. Retail: $4.99 for 6 oz. Last but certainly not the least are these delicious cookies. They are really crumbly (and messy) to eat but it’s sooooo good. It’s a mix of the outside chocolate Oreos with semi-sweet Belgium chocolate chips baked into it. Ugh, these are so savory and great with milk. I’m going to need to order more.

I really love all of these snacks. My box was worth $33.47 but this was a sample box from two different lines so I would imagine you would get your money’s worth.
